Suspect at large following shooting incident in Cambridge
Officers are now on the hunt for a suspect after a shooting incident in Cambridge.
Waterloo Regional Police responded to the area of Elgin Street North and Northview Heights Drive after a call came in that a shooting had occured.
When police arrived, they discovered a 19-year-old male with a gunshot wound in the lower body, needing to be transported to hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect in question wasn’t found at the scene, but police say it was likely a targeted incident, adding there’s no danger to public safety at this time.
The investigation is still ongoing and police are asking anyone with information, come forward.
