Guelph man charged after posting secretly recorded sexual encounter with former partner on social media

A man from Guelph is facing charges after posting a sexually explicit video of a former partner online without her consent.

According to Guelph Police, the 26-year-old Guelph man secretly recorded a sexual encounter between him and a former girlfriend sometime in 2021 or 2022.

He posted the encounter to his social media account.

On Wednesday, he was arrested and charged with voyeurism and publishing intimate images without consent.

He will appear in court on Oct. 24.
