Police look for suspect who allegedly attacked a female victim on the ION

Waterloo Regional Police are looking for a male suspect after a female victim was allegedly assautled while riding on the ION.

They say it happened soon after 8:00, Tuesday night, on the light rail train while it was travelling in downtown Kitchener near the City Hall station.

Police say the suspect came up to the victim, made derogatory comments at her, and threw something at her.

No one was physically hurt.

Police say they’re looking for a white male, with an average build and a beard, and at the time was wearing a white hat and a yellow shirt.
