Regional police investigating fire in Waterloo

A fire at a residence in Waterloo continues to be under investigation by regional police and Waterloo Fire.

Just after 10pm on Thursday, emergency services responded to a fire at a home in the area of Bridgeport East and Ellis Crescent North.

Fire crews managed to put out the fire and area roadways were closed for a time, but have since re-opened.

One person was in the home at the time, but managed to escape without any injuries.

No other injuries were reported.
