Power restored to roughly 20K people across Waterloo Region and Guelph

Dozens of power outages across Kitchener, Waterloo, and Guelph were quickly resolved, and power restored to approximately 20,000 customers.

According to a representative from Enova Power Corp., a brief loss of power supply from Hydro One caused the outage.

Manager of Communications Jeff Quint says Enova Power will investigate the incident, but the loss of power was caused by factors outside of the region and outside of their boundaries.
