Charge laid for three-vehicle crash on Kossuth Road that left two drivers hurt

A charge has been laid in a crash in Cambridge that closed down part of Kossuth Road and left two drivers hurt.

First responders came to the scene on Kossuth near Fountain Street North, just before 2:30 on Wednesday afternoon.

They found three vehicles involved in the crash: a commercial truck and two cars.

The drivers of the cars both suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to a local hospital.

One of them, a 31-year old woman from Kitchener, was charged with careless driving.

Police make no mention of any injuries for the truck driver.
