WRPS, UofG confirm unknown substance dropped on Ayr home was bird feces

Regional police along with the assistance of the University of Guelph have confirmed an unknown substance dropped on homes and property in Ayr to be bird feces.

According to police the feces were from a heron and no criminal activity took place.

This revelation comes after a report was made to police back in August that someone operating a drone was dropping an unknown substance on homes, cars, and property in the town.

Waterloo Regional Police received multiple calls about that drone causing property damage in the Stanley Street and Main Street area.
