Severe thunderstorm watch ended for Waterloo Region

A severe thunderstorm watch and then warning was issued for Waterloo Region and surrounding areas Tuesday evening.

According to Environment Canada, conditions were favourable for the development of dangerous thunderstorms.

All watches and warnings were dropped around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
