Roseville Road reopened following early morning fatal collision

Waterloo Regional Police closed Roseville Road in North Dumfries between Cameron Road and Dumfries Road, to investigate a fatal collision involving a cyclist Tuesday morning.

It was around 5:45 a.m. when police responded to the intersection of Roseville Road and Kings Road for a reported collision involving a cyclist and an unspecified motor vehicle.

That cyclist, identified as a 57-year-old man was transported to local hospital, and has since been pronounced dead.

Roseville Road reopened around 3 p.m. Tuesday after being closed for several hours.
