Crash involving scooter in Cambridge leads to serious injuries

One person has been seriously injured after a crash in Cambridge involving a scooter.

The collision was reported Monday afternoon on Cedar Street. Police confirmed a vehicle and a scooter collided, sending the operator of the scooter to hospital.

The individual’s injuries are described as serious but non-life-threatening.

Cedar Street has been closed between Water Street South and Grand Avenue South for the investigation.

There was no reopening time known as of 6 p.m. Monday. Drivers were asked to avoid the area and plan alternate routes.
