OPP still searching for answers in Wellington homicide from 2020

Wellington County OPP is still looking for answers in a four-year-old homicide investigation.

According to police, the incident took place in Wellington County on Aug. 4, 2020, at about 7:15 p.m.

OPP found a deceased individual along the roadway on Watson Rd. North just south of Wellington Rd. 124.

The dead man was identified as 25-year-old Mohamed Amin Ismail of Ottawa.

Investigators from the OPP believe there may be somebody in the Region of Waterloo or Wellington County who may have information that could lead to a breakthrough in the investigation.
