Man found unconscious with serious injuries in Victoria Park

Waterloo Regional Police have made an arrest after a man was found in Victoria Park unconscious and with serious physical injuries.

Police say an assault took place at the park Wednesday, with the 42-year-old man found around 7:15 p.m.

A 35-year-old man has been charged with aggravated assault.

Police are calling the attack targeted noting they have no public safety concerns.

The investigation though is still ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
