Man arrested after alleged stabbing on Kingswood Drive; 3 people injured

An arrest in Kitchener after a stabbing in the city.

Around 5 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, police said they were called about a 23-year-old who had been stabbed in the Kingswood Drive and Alpine Road area.

When officers arrived, two other victims with minor injuries were found. The 23-year-old was seriously injured, though police note his injuries are non-life-threatening.

A 28-year-old man from Kitchener has since been arrested and is facing a long list of charges.

The charges include numerous assault-related offences, uttering threats to cause bodily harm, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

Police have said all four people involved know each other.
