OPP investigating after Cambridge man drowns in Grand River

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating after a Cambridge man was found dead in the Grand River.

According to Brant County OPP, officers responded to reports of a possible drowning in the Grand River in the area of Glen Morris, south of Cambridge on Tuesday at 11:45 a.m.

Emergency crews pulled the person from the water and pronounced them deceased on the scene.

They were identified as a 58-year-old man from Cambridge.

Brant County OPP continues to investigate the incident and adds that there is no concern for public safety.
