Kitchener man arrested in connection to assault at downtown business

A man has been arrested in connection to an assault that happened in Kitchener on Wednesday,

According to Waterloo Regional Police, the incident happened before 3 p.m. on King St. East and Benton St.

The victim and suspect got into a verbal argument outside, and one man chased the other into a business.

The victim was physically assaulted in the business and was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

On Friday, Waterloo Regional Police arrested a 44-year-old man from Kitchener in connection to the incident.
