Charges pending as motorcycle crash sends one to hospital in Waterloo

Regional police continue to investigate a collision that snarled the afternoon drive in Waterloo on Wednesday.
It was around 12:35 p.m. when emergency crews responded to a reported collision in the intersection of Weber Street North and Bridgeport Road East.
That collision is said to have involved a motorcycle and an unspecified vehicle.
The driver of the motorcycle, identified as a 30-year-old man from Kitchener, was taken to an out-of-region hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the involved vehicle was not physically hurt.
Police say charges are now pending.
