Police looking for suspicious man last seen in Waterloo

Last month a youth was approached by a suspicious man and police are now seeking the publics help in identifying him.

The incident happened June 23 around 6 p.m. at a store in the Albert and Hazel Street area of Waterloo.

According to police an unknown man walked up to the youth, tried to befriend them and asked them to come into his vehicle.

When the youth declined and sought help from employees the man fled the store in an four-door grey SUV.

He is described as South Asian, 30 to 40 years old with an average build and has short dark hair and a black beard.

No one was hurt in the incident and police are looking to speak with and, identify the man.
