Pedestrian seriously injured after hit-and-run involving transport truck

A serious hit-and-run crash involving a transport truck near Fairview Park Mall, has a pedestrian in hospital, seriously injured.
The woman was walking in the Fairway Road South and Wilson Avenue area just after 11 a.m. Monday morning, when she was reportedly hit by a transport truck.
The truck driver drove away, and the woman, a 19-year-old from Waterloo, was sent to hospital with serious injuries.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
