Schneider Haus National Historic Site hosts Pride event

Pride Month may have ended, but today at Schneider Haus, there will be another opportunity to celebrate Pride with the whole family.

Schneider Haus is celebrating pride on Saturday with local artisans, live music by Coraline James, free cookies, kid-friendly crafts, and glitter tattoos.

The event was originally scheduled for June 22, but because of bad weather, had to be pushed.

The historic site will host a panel of 2SLGBTQIA+ elders, sharing their experiences and discussing the progress towards equality in the outdoor amphitheatre.

The event is free for anyone who wants to attend and will run from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the Schneider Haus National Historic Site.
