Police investigate reported vehicle theft in Waterloo

Waterloo Regional Police are now appealing for witnesses as they investigate a reported vehicle theft incident in the City of Waterloo.

According to regional police, it was around 12:00 a.m. when an unknown suspect approached the victim at a business in the area of Fischer-Hallman Road and Erb Street West.

It’s alleged the suspect demanded the victim’s car keys. The victim complied, resulting in the suspect fleeing the area in the stolen vehicle.

Anyone with information that could assist police in their investigation is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
