Police looking for a male suspect they say struck a female victim in the head

Waterloo Regional Police are urgently looking for a suspect they say struck a female victim in the head in Kitchener.

Officials say it happened around 7:15, Tuesday night, as the victim was walking near Victoria Street South and Belmont Avenue.

Police say an unknown male hit the woman, but she was not hurt physically.

There is no description of the suspect for now, as police work to identify him.

Police have released no other information.
