Police investigating late-night robbery in Kitchener

Police are investigating after a man in Kitchener was robbed in the early morning hours on Thursday.

According to Waterloo Regional Police, officers responded to the area of Wellington St. and St. Leger St. for reports of a robbery at around 2:30 a.m.

A 47-year-old Kitchener man was approached and robbed by an unknown man, described as Black, in his mid-20s, and weighing about 250 lbs.

The victim was not injured in the incident.
