68-year-old injured in Cambridge robbery, police investigating

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating after a good Samaritan was attacked in Cambridge.
It happened at around noon on Friday in the area of Water St. North and Simcoe St.
A 68-year-old man witnessed two people stealing property and took out his phone to record the incident.
The man approached them, and the two suspects attacked him, stole his phone, and fled the area before discarding the phone.
The victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
