Centre in the Square released lineup for the 2024-25 season

Theatre-goers and music lovers are united this week as Centre in the Square announces its lineup for the upcoming season.
It will launch a new international series featuring performers from across the globe. Mariza, the “queen of Fado music” will kick things off on October 22 and will feature performers by Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo from Monaco on November 18 and The State Ballet of Ukraine’s rendition of Swan Lake on December 7.
Anyone looking for a laugh will be able to see various comedians part of the season’s comedy series, including Russell Howard on September 26, a live show of Whose Line Is It Anyway? on October 7 and The Debaters Live On Tour Holiday Special on December 12.
The venue said they will be re-opening their Studio Theatre this summer for local artists to rehearse as part of the Kitchener Creates Initiative. Special pricing will be running from July 8 to September 20.
“Centre in the Square’s initiatives are a shining example of our city’s dedication to nurturing a vibrant arts community,” said Mayor Berry Vrbanovic in a press release.
“These innovative programs and accessible spaces will not only empower our local artists but also enhance the cultural fabric of our entire community. I am thrilled to witness the positive impact these efforts will have on enriching the lives of our residents.”
Tickets will go on sale for the season on Thursday beginning at 10 a.m.
