Police seeking suspect after elderly woman knocked to the ground in Waterloo Park

An elderly woman was allegedly assaulted in one of the biggest parks in Waterloo Region, and police are trying to find out who it was.
They say it happened around 10:00, last Wednesday morning, as the victim was walking in Waterloo Park.
Regional police said an unknown male approached the elderly female and pushed her down to the ground.
She had to go to hospital for treatment of minor injuries
Police have offered no details by way of a suspect description, and no explanation why the victim was assaulted.
