Crash between ION train and vehicle causes brief service disruption in Kitchener

A crash in Kitchener caused a brief disruption to ION train services.

According to Grand River Transit (GRT), ION trains were not running from Fairway Station to Kitchener Market Station following a collision between a train and a vehicle.

GRT reported the disruption around 1:30 p.m.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

GRT added that a bus bridge was in effect between the two stations.
