Second annual Pride celebration to take place in Woolwich

The Township of Woolwich is set to host their second annual Pride celebration on Saturday in support of the 2SLGBTQ+ community.

The event will run from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Gibson Park in Elmira, featuring live performances, rock climbing, face painting, and a bouncy castle.

The Rainbow Chorus of Waterloo-Wellington will feature on the main stage, as well as a family ‘Dance-Fit’ session and a performance by local band ‘Fire in the Valley’.

The afternoon promises performances and activities to entertain folks of all ages, genders and backgrounds.

There will also be local vendors and inclusive organizations on hand.
