Third man arrested in connection to April Kitchener shooting

Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a third person in connection to an April shooting in Kitchener.

The incident took place on April 30, just after noon, when police responded to reports of an injured man in the area of Mill Park Dr. and Green Valley Dr.

When they arrived, they found a 35-year-old man who had been shot. He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

On Thursday, officers arrested a 40-year-old Kitchener man and charged him with accessory after the fact to attempted murder.

Two men have already been arrested in connection to the shooting, 36-year-old Justin Orr and a 39-year-old Kitchener man.

Orr was briefly wanted on a Canada-wide warrant in connection to the shooting and arrested and charged with attempted murder on June 1.

The 39-year-old Kitchener man was arrested on May 28 and charged with accessory after the fact.
