Regional police look for driver and heavily damaged SUV that went ‘airborne’ in hit-and-run

Waterloo Regional Police need to find a driver involved in what they say was a hit-and-run crash that saw a vehicle going airborne.

It happened around 6:30 Sunday morning, in Crosshill, Ont., at Lobsinger Line and Greenwood Hill Road.

Police say an SUV went off the roadway, into the air, and landed on the front lawn of a home, leaving some damage behind.

Whoever was behind the wheel was still able to drive the vehicle away.

Police are now looking for a grey Kia Seltos, possibly a 2021 or 2022 model.

They say that the vehicle will have major front-end damage.

Anyone who can help police find that SUV is asked to give them a call, at 519-570-9777, or reach out to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or by clicking here.
