Morrison Road reopens in North Dumfries after truck strikes hydro pole

A North Dumfries road has now reopened after a truck struck a hydro pole on Thursday afternoon.

According to Waterloo Regional Police, it was just after 5 p.m. when that truck hit a pole in the area of Shellard Road and Dundas Street South.

No physical injuries were reported by the driver as a result of the collision.

Morrison Road was closed for several hours to allow hydro crews to complete repairs, though that closure has since been lifted.
