Five-vehicle collision in Kitchener leads to serious injuries, charges anticipated

A five-vehicle collision in Kitchener on Saturday caused serious injuries to those involved and has led to an investigation from Waterloo Regional Police.
According to police, it happened just before 8 p.m. when emergency crews responded to reports of a five-vehicle collision, involving a motorcycle, on Bridge St, West near Woolwich St.
A 24-year-old man, the driver of the motorcycle, was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Several other people involved were treated by paramedics at the scene of the collision.
Bridge St. was closed in the area for several hours while police investigated.
Police anticipate charges, and the investigation is ongoing.
