Guelph man facing numerous charges after human trafficking investigation

Guelph Police Service has arrested a 37-year-old Guelph man who is facing numerous charges.

Police allege the man was involved in trafficking, procuring, receiving material benefit and sexually assaulting young females.

The man is in custody waiting for a bail hearing next month.

The investigation remains ongoing.

Guelph Police added that if you or someone you know is a victim of human trafficking, you can reach out to receive specialized support by contacting the Sexual Assault/Domestic Violence Care and Treatment Centre at Guelph General Hospital by calling 519-837-6440, or the Victim Services Guelph Wellington at 519-824-1212.
