Police looking for a male suspect after woman followed late at night

Waterloo Regional Police need to find a suspicious person they say approached and then followed a female late at night in Waterloo.

Police say it happened around 10:30, Saturday night, as the female was walking in the area of Father David Bauer Drive and Westmount Road.

She told police she was approached by a male stranger, who then followed her.

The female walked over to a large group of people and joined them.

When she did, the male stopped following her.

Police say he’s describes as being white, about six feet tall, slim, with blonde hair, and at the time was wearing a baseball hat an a white t-shirt.

No one was physically hurt.
