Arts, music, food and culture on display at festival in downtown Kitchener

The best of Waterloo Region’s arts, music, and food will be on display on Saturday in downtown Kitchener.

Pallete X Palate is running throughout the afternoon and evening, hosted by the Downtown Kitchener BIA.

The inaugural event runs from noon until 10 p.m. at locations across the downtown core.

“Arts and culture just helps people to have an inclusive opportunity,” Linda Jutzi, Executive Director of the Downtown Kitchener BIA, said. “It allows people to have an inclusive opportunity. “There are no barriers to this. It’s all free. It’s just an opportunity to come and be a part of the heart of your city.”

The event will feature a unique experience for downtown shoppers, giving them the ability to explore unique creations and support local artists and vendors at the pop-up art market in Vogelsang Green.

The day will also feature a chance to savour the fusion of flavours as local restaurants and chefs collaborate with artists to create unique food and art pairings.

There will also be sidewalk sales featuring products from popular downtown businesses.
