North Dumfries crash sends Cambridge woman to hospital

Police are investigating an overnight crash in North Dumfries that sent a 23-year-old Cambridge woman to hospital.

According to Waterloo Regional Police, the one-vehicle crash took place in the area of Morrison Road and Sheffield Road at around 1 a.m.

The woman lost control of her Chrysler sedan and ran off the road into a group of trees.

She was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Morrison Rd. was closed for several hours while police investigated.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage to call them at 519-570-9777, extension 8856.
