Police will lay charges for collision in Kitchener between pick-up and e-bike

Charges are expected after a collision in Kitchener involving an e-bike that put the driver in hospital.
Waterloo Regional Police say it happened around 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, at King Street East and Cedar Street.
They describe a crash between an e-bike and a pick-up truck.
Police say the 34-year-old man from Waterloo driving the bike was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
And the 66-year-old man driving the pick-up was not hurt.
Police anticipate laying charges, but for now, they’re still investigating, and hoping witnesses will come forward, especially anyone with dashcam video.
