Seattle Kraken sign Carson Rehkopf to entry-level deal

While the Kitchener Rangers continue to look back at their performance during the 2023-24 regular season, one Rangers forward is reaping the benefits from his performance this past season.

Forward Carson Rehkopf has inked his three-year entry-level contract with the Seattle Kraken with an annual average value of $950,000. The team made the announcement Sunday evening.

The 19-year-old was selected in the 2nd round, 50th overall in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft.

Rehkopf scored 52 goals and added 43 assists for 95 points during the 2023-24 campaign. He was tied for the lead in power-play goals scored with 16, and tied for first in game-winning goals with 10 alongside overage teammate, Matthew Sop.

Rehkopf added six goals and five assists in 10 games played during the 2024 playoffs.

He also represented Team Canada at the 2024 World Junior Hockey Championships in Sweden.
