Kitchener home broken into, thieves still on the run

Two suspects involved in a break-and-enter in a Kitchener home over the weekend are still on the loose.

Waterloo Regional Police say the pair smashed the glass of a back patio door in the Huron South Neighbourhood around 7:30 Sunday night.

Property and cash were reportedly stolen from the home in the Castlebay Street and Rockcliffe Drive area.

The alleged thieves reportedly fled when they ran into someone who was home at the time. That person was not hurt.

No suspect descriptions have been given at this time.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police, as the investigation is ongoing.
