Police searching for masked man after robbery in Kitchener

Police are investigating after a person-on-person robbery in Kitchener.

The incident occurred Thursday night around 9:30 p.m. in the area of Courtland Avenue East and Kent Avenue.

According to police, the victim was walking in the area when an unknown man wearing a mask approached them and a short physical confrontation ensued.

The victim managed to leave the area with no physical injuries.

The suspect was described as wearing dark clothing with a hood and a mask concealing their identity.
