Man charged with arson following fire at residential Kitchener building

Police have charged a 37-year-old man after he lit fire to a residential building in Kitchener on Monday morning.
Waterloo Regional Police responded to reports of a fire in the area of Charles St. East and Eby St. at approximately 10:40 a.m. on April 15.
Thanks to help from the Kitchener Fire Department, the fire was contained to one unit, and no injuries were reported.
Police investigated, and a 37-year-old man was charged with arson.
The investigation by police and the Office of the Fire Marshal is ongoing.
