Police investigating serious collision in Kitchener

Police are investigating a serious collision in Kitchener on Saturday morning.
According to Waterloo Regional Police, emergency crews responded to the scene of the collision between a Toyota sedan and a Ford van on University Ave. West at about 1:30 a.m. on April 13.
Both drivers were seriously injured in the crash. The driver of the sedan, a 22-year-old man, was moved to an out-of-region hospital. The driver of the Ford, a 58-year-old man from Kitchener, was brought to a local hospital.
University Ave. West was closed between Fischer-Hallman Rd. and Erb St. West for several hours while police investigated.
