Two arrests made, search continues for third suspect after Kitchener shooting

Police have arrested two Kitchener men after a shooting at a plaza last month and the search continues for a third suspect.

In the last week, Waterloo Regional Police charged a 27-year-old and a 24-year-old in connection with the shooting.

The incident happened on the night of Mar. 5 in the Kingsway Drive and Wilson Avenue area and was believed to be targeted.

Multiple businesses were damaged with visible bullet holes and one person was hurt, but they left before officers arrived.

Investigators located a vehicle at the scene and a search allegedly turned up a loaded gun, ammunition, and drugs.

Police were then able to identify two male suspects. One was arrested last Thursday while the other was arrested on Tuesday.

Photos have been released of a third suspect who is described as Black male, approximately 5’8”, with a thin build. He was wearing a black jacket, black and white pants, and black shoes.
