Pedestrian taken to hospital after crash in Waterloo

An 82-year-old woman from Waterloo was taken to hospital on Thursday morning after a crash.

Waterloo Regional Police responded to a crash between a car and a pedestrian on King Street South at Willis Way around 9:30 a.m.

The 82-year-old pedestrian was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A 23-year-old man from Waterloo was driving the car at the time of the crash and was charged with careless driving.
