Police search for suspicious man offering kids candy in Waterloo

Regional police are looking for suspicious man, who reportedly approached children and offered them candy in Waterloo.
Police said this happened Monday afternoon around 5 p.m. in the Brynhurst Boulevard and Keats Way area.
That is near Mary Johnston Public School, in the Beechwood neighbourhood.
Police said the man told the children he had candy, and followed them even as they tried to leave.
No one was physically hurt.
The man is described as white, in his sixties, with a slim build, wearing a black hat, green jacket, black jeans and walking with a cane.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
