“Say it Ain’t Snow,” snow plow naming contest returns to Kitchener

Alright, get ready for some snow puns.
We may not have had very much snow this month, but the City of Kitchener is making sure its snow clearing crew is ready for years to come and with a fun twist.
It once again has launched a snow plow naming contest.
Thousands of ideas were submitted last year, with six names chosen, and now, the city is looking for six more.
Twelve finalists are ready to be voted on.
They include:
- Winter Warrior
- Road Runner
- Mighty Morphin’ Plower Ranger
- Scoopy Doo
- Lord of the Wing
- Say it Ain’t Snow
- Buzz Iceclear
- The Blizzard of Oz
- Storm Trooper
- Frosty the Snowplow
- Flurrious George
- Baby Snowda
You can vote online or submit a paper ballot at your local community centre or Kitchener City Hall.
The winners are expected to be announced in the spring.
