Nominations open for 2024 K-W Oktoberfest Rogers Women of the Year awards

Nominations are now open for the 2024 K-W Oktoberfest Rogers Women of the Year awards.

The annual accolades aim to recognize outstanding women in our community and this year, there’s a brand new category.

It’s for skilled trades and that award will honour someone for their contributions to the advancement and empowerment of women in the trades sector.

Last year was record-breaking for the awards as close to 100 nominations were submitted in 2023, which was the most ever received.

There’s a total of 12 categories for 2024 and any nominees need to live, work, volunteer, or study within Waterloo Region.

The nomination deadline is 4 p.m. on Mar. 31. You can learn more by clicking here.

The 2024 K-W Oktoberfest Rogers Women of the Year awards will be handed out a ceremony, set to take place May 23.
