Oakville man arrested, charged in Waterloo hate-motivated assault

Regional police have arrested and charged a 20-year-old man from Oakville involved in a local hate-motivated assault.

The incident originally occurred just before 11:30 p.m. on the night of January 13th in the area of King Street North and Princess Street East.

According to police the victim was assaulted by the man and sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

After being arrested he was then held by police for a bail hearing.
