Snow events remain in place across Waterloo Region
On-street parking bans remain in effect in most of the tri-cities and surrounding townships as a lingering snowfall continues to impact the region.
A winter storm warning had been issued for Waterloo Region on Friday which turned into a winter weather travel advisory Saturday morning.
As a result, snow events were first declared Friday at 11:59 p.m. and remain in effect as of Sunday morning for Waterloo, Cambridge, Wilmot and Wellesley Township.

Kitchener ended it’s snow event at 6 p.m. Saturday evening while Wilmot extended it’s parking ban until 12 p.m. on Sunday.
The on-street parking bans will remain in effect to assist snow-clearing crews.
Anyone caught violating the snow events could be ticketed and/or towed.
