OPP arrest driver for speeding, drug possession on 401 through Cambridge

OPP provided photo of cash and raw cannabis from traffic stop in Cambridge.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) made an arrest on the 401 through Cambridge early Saturday morning.

According to police they stopped a speeding vehicle near the Franklin exit after officers spotted the driver attempting to switch seats with the passenger.

Through an investigation raw cannabis was seized, as well as a large amount of cash.

The driver has been charged with drug trafficking and prohibited driving.
