Crews respond to garage fire in Guelph

No one was hurt in a garage fire in Guelph.

It happened Wednesday afternoon at a residence on Willow Road.

Officials with the Guelph Fire Department and the Guelph Police Service responded to the scene.

The fire was extinguished as of 3 p.m. but firefighters continued to clear to smoke and search for hot spots.

Willow Road was closed between Westwood Road and Rhonda Road because of the incident.

Fire officials said an investigation will be getting underway into what caused the fire.
